THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED La Petite Maison Restaurant Review:
In Nice, France, anybody who's anybody makes an appearance at La Petite Maison, and this famed restaurant has gone global with locations in London, Moscow, Dubai and New York City. The space may seem small at first glance, but the two-story restaurant encompasses multiple dining rooms and a bar. Among the signature dishes are zucchini blossom beignets, Provençale fish soup, creamy truffled eggs and tuna steak "tournedos." The lunchtime prix-fixe menu is a great deal at $24.07 for three courses. Start off with tuna tartare or traditional Niçoise salad, then continue with the grilled salmon with roasted fennel or goat cheese risotto with seasonal vegetables. Flan or tiramisu make for a sweet finish. Other mid-day options include a Black Angus skirt steak with roasted potatoes and baby lettuce. The wine list primarily features France, but there are also a number of selections from the U.S., Italy and Chile. Classic cocktails are available as well.
