L'Atelier Maître Albert Restaurant Review:
Maître Albert was a great magician and alchemist of the Middle Ages; that may be why the restaurant is trying to do some magic with its prices for lunch. The prix-fixe price indeed (€31) is astounding for the quality: “goujonettes” of John Dory with white asparagus, cod fish à la plancha, skewered free-range chicken, and to conclude, grapefruit terrine or chocolate fondant. In the evening in this classy, romantic rotisserie set amidst a modern Wilmotte décor, it’s a different story on the bill. Don't miss the brochette of snails and watercress blancmange, prawns à la rôtisserie, spit-roasted saddle of lamb, and Brie de Meaux with nuts, which are full of relevance come winter when diners enjoy the warm ambience around the burning fireplace.
