Le Coq Rico Restaurant Review

: Le Coq Rico is tucked away on the top of the Butte Montmartre. The owner, the Alsatian Antoine Westermann, owns two other restaurants in Paris, Drouant and Mon Vieil Ami. At this venture, which is completely dedicated to poultry, he has entrusted the stoves to one of his disciples, the talented Thierry Lébé. It’s important to note that the produce hails from the best suppliers, like the free-range chicken from the regions of Challans and Bresse, and the guinea fowl from Auvergne. Start with the poultry liver salad and then move on to succulent roast guinea fowl served with puréed and caramelized cabbage, and finish with a vanilla and red berries vacherin. Count on €50 à la carte.
