Le Pere Claude Restaurant Review:
Claude Perraudin lives like a monk (albeit of the Rabelaisian type), his existence devoted to feeding his faithful patrons. Nowadays, seven days a week in this jolly brasserie, his children oversee a gargantuan rotisserie where strings of sausages, plump poultry, beef, and racks of lamb spin slowly on the spit until they’re done to a turn. There are oceans of tasty wine to wash it all down. The prices? Blessedly low, of course.
