Le Saint Joseph Restaurant Review

: Located in a southern suburb of Paris, this bistro turns out to be a magnet for foodies. Former chef of noteworthy restaurants such as Jean and La Régalade, Benoît Bordier does wonders at the stoves thanks to fine flavor combinations and a great technique. Suggested for lunch and dinner, the menu at €32 offers value for your money. Count on daily specials suggested on a slate, such as pâté and beef tartare. Or treat yourself with the finely crafted ingredients in the cold green peas soup with feta cheese and croutons and a melting tête de veau accompanied by king prawns, spinach sprouts and pommes grenaille. Dessert lives up to the other dishes, simple yet delicious: warm madeleines topped by praline chocolate and raspberry. The spouse of the chef oversees the service as well as the wine list. Prestigious labels are proposed along with more affordable items by the glass, like the Saint-Émilion Chante Alouette 2008.
