Maison’s tile floors, wood exterior, low lighting and Belle Époque décor class it among the most attractive bistros in a city with no shortage of competitors. Its fare excels its counterparts’ as well, with upscale dishes like roasted pumpkin soup, foie gras with French lentils and port, black Angus steak with garlic-potato purée and roasted pearl onions and Guinness-braised short ribs. And Maison’s wine list is 300 strong.
