This small but sleek high-ceilinged restaurant ambitiously tries to cover several aspects of Japanese cuisine---ramen, yakitori and robatayaki---and largely succeeds. The extensive ramen selection is highlighted by the miso ramen with intense flavor that suggest hours-long cooking. We also recommend the signature ramen, spicy and laced with seafood. Steak and chicken skewers may please the meat lover, but are a tad bland. The braised pork “burger,” which comes in an Asian-style dim sum bun and topped with crispy radicchio, is unique and satisfying. Likewise, the small-portioned and sticky sweet potato noodles with beef will make you long for more.
