Miyodai Restaurant Review:
This Japanese restaurant is hidden in plain sight in the corner of a shopping center, and worth discovering for home-style food. Chef Miyoda is adept at preparing miso-broiled sea bass and yellowtail collar with ponzu sauce. The sushi bar offers a variety of fresh raw seafood like velvety uni, luscious scallops with a squeeze of lemon, lobster sashimi, and albacore and bonito nigiri. We also recommend the fairly inventive rolls, as well as steamed clams, creamy monkfish liver and handmade gyoza. At lunch or dinner, there are compelling combination meals. Specials change frequently, so be sure to check the blackboard before ordering. Two aspects that don’t change: friendly service and reasonable prices.
