James Restaurant Review:
James was founded by Bryan Calvert, once the personal chef for photographer Annie Leibovitz, and his wife Deborah Williamson. The restaurant serves simple fare, with the herbs coming from the rooftop garden above the restaurant. Menu items include seared diver scallops with watercress puree and roasted corn; shell steak with roasted marrow bone, au poivre sauce and swiss chard; and grilled lemon almond pound cake with rhubarb sorbet.
