Michael Jordan may not make regular appearances at this Grand Central Terminal eatery, but yes, he (or, rather, his chefs) can definitely make a good steak. First and foremost is the view of the grand and glamorous terminal, all marble and gilt. Second is the satisfying (if average) steakhouse fare. Feisty garlic bread with Gorgonzola fondue, creamy corn soup boasting a pepper-pumped crab cake and half a dozen varieties of Prime dry-aged red meat will get your game going, and the list of hard-to-find domestic and international wines is a slam dunk. A wine salon and 20-seat table have replaced the retail shop. Definitely worth a stop before you catch your train. |
