Mom’s is a popular lunch spot for midtown office workers and can get incredibly crowded around noon. But the fresh-baked bagels---flying saucer-sized doughy delights that are wonderful spread with butter or soft cheese---are worth a stop. Also available: hard cheeses and a selection of meats. Mom’s voicemail lists the daily specials and takes orders. Mom’s is a kosher establishment, and is also a busy caterer.
