 This vast and noisy Neapolitan spot (the dining room seats over 250) is a slice of the Old World in Midtown, right down to the generous hospitality. Joining the 20-plus small, tapas-like plates are such starters as meatballs in a sweet-and-sour sauce or fried zucchini, asparagus, mushrooms, shrimp and salad. Entrées include roasted salmon with citrus pesto and chicken Milanese or acqua pazza. Among the homemade desserts are rich chocolate cake with raspberry coulis, tiramisu and a justifiably popular cannoli. The 75-foot-long wine bar offers more than 70 selections and other first-rate potables.
