THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Negril Restaurant Review:
THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED One of the best Caribbean spots in Manhattan, Negril serves up spicy jerk chicken ribettes as appetizers, along with collard green spring rolls. Entrées range from oxtail stew with brown gravy, rice and peas to ackee and saltfish (Jamaica’s national dish) served with boiled bananas, yams, dumplings and sweet plantains. Though many dishes are not as spicy as some might prefer, they're all cooked well and nicely presented. Vegetarians can enjoy curried vegetables and tofu. This colorful, lively spot is located in an out-of-the-way corner of Chelsea, but fans of roti will find their way.
