THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Getting away to the French countryside has never been so easy. Sitting next to a massive fireplace under a wood-beamed ceiling and iron chandelier you could be in Aix or Avignon, not the West Village. The farmhouse ambience of Partage may be more rustic chic than its older sibling Paradou, but the menu remains an homage to Provençal specialties. The prix-fixe is magnifique at $25 or choose among classic entrées such as steak frites or potato gratin and ratatouille. The mussels with lardons and onions in a Pernod sauce are enough to encourage those French lessons you've been putting off. Partage translates to sharing, which is encouraged given the generous portion sizes and demonstrated by the diverse groups of diners. The outdoor sidewalk seating is the perfect location to enjoy a leisurely meal while sipping the house cocktail---the Paradou X. Mangez bien!
