Petit Crenn Restaurant Review

: Dominique Crenn's Hayes Valley restaurant Petit Crenn is billed as an "homage to her mother and grandmother's cooking," and features cuisine reminiscent of her native Brittany. This sister offshoot of Crenn's famous Atelier Crenn offers à la carte dining during lunch, as well as from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. (Tues.-Sat.) at the chef's counter. Otherwise, guests are served a seven-course dinner menu for $87 per person (including service but not including tax and wine). Seafood and vegetables are the focus, with dishes ranging from whole roasted cauliflower to binchotan-grilled turbot with seaweed and charred lemon beurre blanc. An extended chef's table tasting menu is also available for $200 per person.
