THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Restaurant EQ Restaurant Review:

Founding chef/co-owner Dennis Foy, who spent the last several years in New Jersey where he had a string of successful spots, opened EQ ostensibly as a neighborhood joint, but the food---and the prices---transcend a simple night out. Nowadays, executive chef Michael Clancy handles the day-to-day tasks of such winning combinations as steamed cockles with homemade noodles and slices of pink grapefruit, which has become the restaurant’s signature appetizer. Among the entrées we’ve enjoyed are various grilled and sautéed fish, including a salmon with candied fennel, and a superb saddle of rabbit. The wine list is relatively short but good, and the desserts are all inviting. An expansion of the dining room indicates that the restaurant’s regulars will gladly pay the price for Restaurant EQ’s meals.
