The owners of this Hell’s Kitchen hot spot wanted to create something different from anything currently on the NY scene, and from an unbiased perspective, it looks as though they may have succeeded...just not on the menu. If anything, it typifies what you find in an upscale supper club: plenty of appetizers, not easily matched up with one region, and ever so slightly chi-chi. Intriguing entrées include the tilapia en papillote and the curried shrimp kebobs. Rather than sample from the unremarkable wine list, we recommend you stick with draft beers or cocktails---or a mixture of the two if you feel brave enough. Really, this is first and foremost a drinking spot with a cool, sexy vibe.
