THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Royal Restaurant Review

: When asked for an inexpensive Indian restaurant with serviceable food and a pleasant environment, we often recommend this place. The clientele includes tourists who stumble in as well as students, couples on dates and birthday celebrants. While not haute Indian cuisine, the food is surprisingly tasty, inexpensive and the condiments are thoughtfully prepared. The tandoor oven is always hot, so order chicken tikka or the well-executed breads---fluffy naan or stuffed parathas. We order the fish malachim a tender and fresh trout smothered in a spicy tomato sauce or the any of the okra dishes.
