Pull open the door to this Chelsea eatery and, at first, you'll think that you're about to enter a huge dining hall that has no end: leather sofas, a semi-open kitchen, and a gauzy curtain fill the massive space, framed by original brick walls and concrete ceiling beams. Votive candles provide some light, but generally the front room is on the dark side and the back room even darker. Both rooms are very loud.
