THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Table Verte Restaurant Review:

“Green” dominates the theme of this small East Village French vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Offered in a sliver of a room with green walls and green tables, the bistro menu proposes fresh vegetable dishes and pastas, served with the panache of an accomplished French chef. No pseudo meats are present, although some dishes do contain cheese and dairy; gluten-free items are available, too. Specialties like lasagna with kale and chickpea ragù (vegetarian) or cassoulet “vegetalien” (vegan) could well convince you that meatless is the way to dine. Sides include Brussels sprouts with balsamic-roasted strawberries and a mushroom caponata. Desserts are equally refined --- consider the multi-faceted roasted and spiced pineapples, enhanced with sea salt and blackberry sauce and served with coconut ice cream. Wines are BYOB.
