THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Taka Restaurant Review: This West Village sushi joint is a truly one-of-a-kind experience: Takako Yoneyama, one of the city’s few female sushi artists, has been making contemporary, innovative sushi here at her own restaurant since 1993, not to mention her own crockery. You can also order small cooked and raw dishes---tuna rolls with edible gold flecks or, most notorious, the crunchy serving of marinated grasshoppers. Prices are good; presentation is first-rate. |
