| This narrow storefront jam-packs loyal patrons like anchovies, many of them convinced this is the best place for traditional pizza in Pasadena. You can choose classic toppings like sausage, mushrooms and pepperoni, plus rarely seen combos as in Tucci’s Special---shrimp, garlic, tomatoes and basil. The buttery garlic rolls are well-known and the simple but satisfying pastas are nearly as popular as the pizza, highlighted by the baked ziti. The best non-pizza item might be the stromboli---pizza dough rolled with cheese, capicola, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, sausage and sauce.
