NEW WINE APPELLATION IN OREGON
The Walla Walla Valley has New Viticultural Areas
Oregon has a new American Viticultural Area (AVA), the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) announced this February. The appellation of The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater lies in the Walla Walla Valley in northeastern Oregon, near the Washington border. The AVA includes 19 vineyards, like TERO Estates and Watermill Winery.

On October 9, 2014, the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) published a final ruling establishing 11 new viticultural sub-areas nested within the greater Paso Robles American Viticultural Area.
