Constructed over a period of ten years at the price of $103 million, this eight-story wine glass-shaped building houses the ultimate wine experience with over 20 exhibits and installations, 800 wines from 70 countries, tasting rooms and restaurants.

The Institute of Masters of Wine welcomed five new masters to its prestigious community in February 2016. The Master of Wine Examination, similar to the Master of Sommelier exam as portrayed in SOMM, is a grueling multiple-stage assessment on all things vino. In the nearly 30 years since the program opened to applicants outside of the United Kingdom, only 338 have gone on to become masters.
