Franciscan Estate 2008 Magnificat is a meritage from Napa Valley

RED

Franciscan Estate 2008 Magnificat
Napa Valley, California

While Franciscan Estate is not owned by grey-robed friars, its name does invoke the Spanish missionaries who first planted European grapes in California. A meritage composed of 69 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon, 23 per cent Merlot, 6 per cent Petit Verdot and 2 per cent Malbec, the 2008 Magnificat is magnificent. Boasting rich dark berry flavors, it is full-bodied and well-structured.
