ABOUT THE WINERY

Founded in 2004, Podere Sapaio is an Italian boutique winery located in the heart of the Bolgheri wine region, which is part of the larger Tuscan wine region in Italy. Bolgheri is well-known for producing high-quality wines, especially red wines, and it gained international recognition for its Bordeaux-style wines.

Sapaio, the winery’s flagship label, comes from Sapaia, an ancient Tuscan varietal, showing the strong ties with the terroir.
