Bolgheri is well-known for producing high-quality wines, especially red wines, and it gained international recognition for its Bordeaux-style wines.

Sapaio, the winery’s flagship label, comes from Sapaia, an ancient Tuscan varietal, showing the strong ties with the terroir.
