On October 26, 2008, live at The 13th Annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival at Disneyland Resort in Orlando, chef Jamie Gwen caught up with Sophie Gayot in Los Angeles. During the course of the phone interview, the pair discussed GAYOT.com’s recently released Annual Restaurant Issue.

In the face of current economic problems, Sophie offered listeners a few of her favorite picks from a list of the Top 40 Cheap Eats in the U.S., where inexpensive prices have not compromised the quality of the cuisine. An overview of this year’s culinary achievements, the Restaurant Issue also includes the Top 40 Restaurants in the U.S. as well as the country’s Top 10 New Restaurants.
