THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Compass Restaurant Review: A stylish, high-concept restaurant that caters to New York's in crowd, this restaurant offers contemporary cuisine in a dramatic setting. An entire selection of grilled meats and lighter fish dishes is available. We recommend the lemon sole. The dessert menu is where this restaurant really separates itself from the pack, however. Items such as basil cake with mint sorbet are adventurous and complex. If you can't commit to a specific dessert, order a few tasting portions; it's a relatively inexpensive way to experiment. Plan on spending more than an hour here; this is not a place to dine on the run. |
