Craftbar, Los Angeles, CA

Craftbar Restaurant Review

: Located in the front lounge and terrace of Craft, Craftbar is another way to discover or rediscover the restaurant’s cuisine. Chef-owner Tom Colicchio has composed exciting small plates. Take your time to read through the long list of offerings divided into snacks, salads, small plates, flatbread, cheese and sweets. Except for the desserts, you can have them arrive at your table in no particular order, and as your appetite dictates. Dishes play with textures, colors, presentations, ingredients and tastes. So you will go from cheddar hushpuppies to crispy Brussels sprouts leaves to nettle tagliatelle. Cheeses have interesting pairings, with candied beets for the Malvarosa or apple fennel marmalade and Marcona almonds for the Morbier. The drinks list is very reasonable and features beers, cocktails and select glasses of wine.
