After a quarter-century, the trailblazing Tuscan restaurant of the Giovannetti family has not lost a step. Lucca native Adi and his wife Rosanna set sky-high standards for northern Italian when the term had little resonance and focus their attention to every nuance of fine dining. Among classic entrées, the linguine in a saffron broth, crostacei marinara and pesce spada Il Monello are standouts. Likewise, Giovannetti's kitchens are masters of risotto---often delivering a quartet on a single plate. Try timing that one at home!
