Le Grand Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Jean-François Piège helms this ritzy restaurant near the Madeleine church. In a tiny dining room decked out with an artistic glass roof and crystal wall lamps, the former chef of the Thoumieux hotel prepares refined and creative dishes. Patrons are treated to a real gastronomic experience. The menu includes pommes soufflées stuffed with shellfish and caviar, langoustine with black wheat, and calf sweetbread cooked on nutshells. Pastry chef Nina Métayer proposes elaborate desserts such as egg cream with bergamot orange and chocolate cake with raspberries. Lunch menu at €80 and dinner menus at €180 and €220.
