Philadelphia Restaurants
The first thing that comes to mind when people think about Philadelphia dining is the famous Philly cheesesteak sub, but there's a lot more on the menu in the City of Brotherly Love. And no, we don't just mean the soft pretzel and the hoagie, both strongly associated with this Pennsylvania city. Countless restaurants in Philadelphia offer the iconic Philly cheesesteak, and small delis and luncheonettes make up much of the restaurants of Philly, but there are plenty of fine dining restaurants in Philadelphia as well. Garces Restaurant Group, led by "Iron Chef" Jose Garces, operates many restaurants in Philadelphia, and there are various major dining locations in the city; these include Rittenhouse Square, Old City and Chinatown. Italian, Japanese, French and Chinese restaurants are very popular in Philadelphia.
