Third Tuesdays Wine and food pairing dinners happen the third Tuesday of each month at Tango Contemporary Café. Chef-owner Goran Streng and co-owner Tami Orozco select a theme and Streng's culinary creativity flows from that inspiration. The wines are tailored to the theme---regional or varietal or, on occasion, a combination of both. The menu is always four courses and the price rarely goes above $60 (not including tax and gratuity), which makes this dinner a relative bargain. Reservations are required and must be confirmed with a credit card. Call 808-593-7288 for reservations and more information regarding the monthly theme. Tango Contemporary CafĂ©, Hokua, 1288 Ala Moana Blvd., Honolulu, HI 96814, 808-593-7288.
