Go on a culinary adventure in a tropical paradise at the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival! This year marks the event's fifth anniversary. The celebration lasts for two weeks starting on August 29 with the signature dinner event, "7 Chefs, One Big Island" at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Festivities continue on September 4 with a golf tournament. Among the many activities, there will be the free "Grown on Maui Farmers Market," a dinner honoring Shep Gordon, seminars involving caviar and Champagne, and much more. Locations of events vary from the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa to the Rooftop Garden at the Hawaii Convention Center. The Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa has launched Sheraton Social Hour, a first-of-its-kind premium wine program offered at the resort. Sheraton Social Hour offers guests a specially created menu of premium wines and daily tasting events, which begin at 5 p.m. Sheraton Selects, an upgraded premium wine menu comprised of a rotation of eight or more wines by the glass, will be among the premium wines offered during Sheraton Social Hour. The program also introduces specially selected premium bottled waters, Acqua Panna Natural Spring Water and S.Pellegrino Sparkling Natural Mineral Water.
