While the Veneto is perhaps best known for its Prosecco sparkling wines, the northern Italian wine region also produces the food-friendly Soave, made from Italian varietals like Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave. A light white wine, this Soave Classico DOC features lovely floral notes on the nose. In the mouth, it displays a low level of acidity resulting in a smooth mouthfeel. Pair it with simply prepared white fish such as tilapia, halibut or haddock.
