Hosted at downtown's Union Station, the annual Signature Chefs Auction features L.A. restaurant chefs, wineries and spirits purveyors. There will also be live and silent auctions. Downtown Burbank brings the Burbank Beer Festival back to its streets with two sessions of craft beer sampling from noon-3 p.m. or 4 p.m.-7 p.m. This fall street fair offers tastings of more than 85 craft beers on tap from scores of different breweries, such as Angel City Brewery and House Beer. Entertainment will include live musical performances on the main stage throughout the day. Food will be widely available to purchase, and dozens of local merchants will be offering artisanal craft goods. Mondays
Silverlake Wine offers “Blue Monday” wine tastings to take the edge off the beginning of the week. Participants enjoy samples of three wines along with farmhouse cheeses, olives and Heirloom LA bread. Price is $15 per person. The tastings run from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. each Monday evening. Third Wednesdays
On the third week of every month from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., Eagle Rock Brewery presents a Women's Beer Forum. Pasadena’s Le Petit Vendôme wine store offers tastings every Thursday beginning at 5:30 p.m., every Friday beginning at 6 p.m. and every Saturday beginning at 3:30 p.m. Each tasting features 10-15 wines. Apart from Thursdays, when each pour is $1, the price of each tasting varies.
