The Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival will host its 32nd annual event at Lake Skinner Recreation Area in Winchester, CA. Thirsty Angelenos will have plenty to choose from at the 10th Annual LAWineFest, happening at Hollywood’s Raleigh Studios. With hundreds of wines, craft brews and spirits on offer, the weekend-long festival is a relaxed, welcoming setting for people to explore the world of wine and more, alongside L.A. food trucks, live bands and handcrafted goods. Spend the evening tasting more than 50 different Champagnes at the Grande Marque Champagne Tasting at Le Merigot in Santa Monica. Hosted by Wally's Wine & Spirits store in Westwood, the 23rd edition comes back with Champagne selections that include Dom Perignon, Krug, Salon and Cristal. Silverlake Wine offers “Blue Monday” wine tastings to take the edge off the beginning of the week. This establishment from George Cossette and Randy Clement (both of Campanile), and April Langford (of the Park Hyatt Los Angeles in Century City) offers a selection of interesting wines accompanied by cheeses from the nearby Cheese Store of Silver Lake.
