Bradley Dickinson and Mikel Rogers, owners of Pearl in Bellevue, have opened KORAL Bar & Kitchen, a more casual sibling down the street in Hyatt Regency Bellevue in the space previously occupied by O/8 Seafood Grill. Restaurant Zoe, which closed last year in Belltown, has re-opened at 1318 East Union Street on Capitol Hill, just across the street from Marjorie's and the Skillet Diner. Larger than its former Belltown location, which is now occupied by The Cotiere Room, Zoe offers an eclectic menu of well-prepared new American cuisine. 46 Restaurants Participate in This Year's Dine Around Seattle
Dine Around Seattle returns for its eleventh year, with 46 restaurants offering three-course prix-fixed dinners for $30 and lunches for $15 March 1-29. Paddy Coyne's Immigrates with a New Location on Pier 70
One of Seattle's most popular Irish pubs, with other locations in downtown Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma, Paddy Coyne's is poised to open a huge new space next to Aqua by El Gaucho on Pier 70 in downtown Seattle. Currently under constuction, this should be a popular watering hole with summer cruise ship passengers and tourists. A few blocks away in Belltown, another Irish pub---CJ Finnegans---is in the process of being built in space next to the Black Bottle on First Avenue. Chef Shuffle

RN74 in Seattle Chef Seisuke (Seis) Kamimura has been appointed as the new executive chef at RN74 Seattle, replacing executive chef Michelle Retallack, who has stepped away from the kitchen to start a family. A graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City, Kamimura brings more than 20 years of experience in the food service and hospitality industries from some of the West Coast's more notable names beginning with Wolfgang Puck's Spago Beverly Hills. He opened BOKA Kitchen + Bar at Hotel 1000, and also the now closed Artisanal Brasserie & Wine Bar in Bellevue's Bravern. Garrett M. Brown, formerly of Columbia City's now closed Verve Bistro and Wine Bar, is heading next to man the kitchen of Belltown's Branzino. Chef David Hatfield, formerly of the Hunt Club & Fireside Room at the Sorrento Hotel, has returned to Seattle after living in Oregon for a few years, to take the helm at the Library Bistro and Bookstore Bar in the Alexis Hotel. After 27 years, chef/owner Bruce Naftaly is closing Le Gourmand, one of Seattle's best-loved Pacific Northwest restaurants, along with the charming adjoining bar Sambar.
