Made from Numanthia's youngest vines, which are 30 to 50 years old, the 2009 Termes proves how versatile the region's Tinta de Toro grapes can be. Grown organically at high altitude, they display earthy aromas of fig, plum, licorice and dark chocolate. The wine's flavors are of ripe blackberries and blueberries balanced by supple tannins and a strong finish. Enjoy it with a crisply grilled red snapper, mullet or mackerel.
