Kinsale Irish LagerTop 10 Irish Beers
LAGERSKinsale Irish LagerLike many towns in Ireland, Kinsale has a rich brewing tradition. Kinsale's dates back to the seventeenth century, when European explorers headed to the New World would stop in for a pint at what used to be Lander's Malt House. Sir Walter Raleigh and Alexander Selkirk (aka Robinson Crusoe) have passed through its quarters. The Kinsale Brewery Company acquired the space in 1997, and in 2001 Kinsale Brewery opened. Fun fact: Did you know the water in Kinsale Lager comes from actual wells in Southern Ireland? "Taste the tradition" is Kinsale's motto, and we can certainly see why. Golden-colored with a fast-fading bitter start, this lager is solidly carbonated, with light floral undertones.
