2009 Arriviste Rosé

Blackbird Vineyards' Arriviste was inspired by "les gitanes," the gypsies of St. Emilion and their high-spirited nature. A dry "pink" wine, the Napa Valley Arriviste is a Merlot-driven blend with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc in the mix. This vibrant rosé exhibits a youthful pink color; on the nose, cherry and red currant aromas mingle with notes of strawberry, peach and pear. The rich and creamy mid-palate carries a bright acidity on to the lingering strawberry finish. This seductive rosé is an ideal wine to enjoy during the romantic twilight hours of summer.
