Le Chabanais is a London offshoot of the Parisian bistro Le Chateaubriand. It offers a modern, classic bistro-style menu. Inaki Aizpitarte, his team from the aforementioned Paris bistro, and Mumbai, India, film producer Varun Talreja collaborated on the restaurant. Dining destination and bar Brooksby’s Walk has opened. The Homerton, east London, venture from restaurant manager Jarrod Cooke and chef Giorgio Ravelli, who previously worked together at Upstairs at The Ten Bells in Spitalfields, will offer a weekly barbecue, northern Italian sharing plates and seasonal cocktails. Taillevent Paris, the group behind restaurant Taillevent, is slated to open a unique brasserie in London. Les 110 de Taillevent in Cavendish Square will offer 110 wines by the glass, paired with seasonal and contemporary French dishes. Italian Guest Chef Series at Hotel Xenia London
Hotel Xenia London is holding a series of culinary events. Every six weeks, an Italian “Guest Chef” will take participant diners on a journey through different Italian tastes, traditions and regions. Hakkasan London Venues Offering Special “Ling Ling” Menus
To mark the summer 2015 debut of the Hakkasan group’s Ling Ling restaurant in Mykonos, the Hanway Place and Mayfair locations of Hakkasan will offer three limited-edition Ling Ling-inspired menus throughout July and August. Hakkasan, 8 Hanway Pl., London W1T 1HD, 020-7927 7000.
 
BT Tower Restaurant Pop-Up
BT Tower’s revolving restaurant reopened to the public for the first time in 35 years to celebrate its 50th anniversary. For two weeks, a pop-up on the 34th floor (45 Maple St.) will serve lunch and dinner to 1,400 diners selected at random by public ballot. Dishes on the menu include roasted hake, spiced Gressingham duck breast, and dark chocolate mousse with white chocolate ganache and hazelnut salted caramel ice cream. The Fat Duck is temporarily closed. Chef Heston Blumenthal brought a pop-up version of the avant-garde restaurant to Melbourne, Australia. (Its last service there was on August 16, 2015.)
