Contemporary seasonal French cuisine entrances diners at this elegant Upper East Side flagship, as well as in a lavish former embassy off Beijing's Tiananmen Square, and at Boulud's chic luxe bistro in Singapore --- to mention only a few of his restaurants. More casual, but no less exacting are the haute lobster sandwiches and house-made charcuterie that the Lyon-born chef offers New York gourmands at his Épicerie Boulud market café, or exquisite handmade cocktails at Bar Pleiades.
