Chef Jody Adams, whose Rialto restaurant closed in June 2016, has opened Porto Chef Jody Adams, whose Rialto restaurant closed in June 2016, has opened Porto. This seafood spot in the Back Bay draws inspiration from the Mediterranean. Porto, Ring Road, Boston, MA 02199, 617-536-1234.
 
The North End welcomes seafood-driven restaurant, Il Molo. Italian for “The Pier,” Il Molo takes over the former Davide space and is headed by veteran restaurateur Donato Frattaroli (Artu, Lucia) and his son, Donato Jr. The venue features marble tables, a fireplace and lounge-style seating, along with a private events area. The kitchen is led by chef Pino Maffeo, formerly of Lucia in Winchester. On the menu are lobster, East and West Coast oysters, and other seafood dishes inspired by New England and the Mediterranean. The Briar Group has opened K2, a full-service café and coffee bar in Kendall Square. Chef Ben Hennemuth of Anthem Kitchen + Bar offers breakfast, lunch and snacks such as the Spud Boat, along with sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and Barrington Coffee cold-brewed drinks. Elephant Walk in South End Launches Bar Menu
The Elephant Walk chef/owner Nadsa de Monteiro puts her spin on bar snacks Monday to Friday from 4 p.m.-6 p.m., including a PT Farm hamburger with tomato-onion chutney and spicy mayo on a brioche bun, a deep-fried hot dog topped with a cooked tomato cumin relish, Cambodian Sloppy Joes featuring ground pork in a sweet garlic peanut coconut sauce, and sweet and spicy pork sandwich with sliced pork tenderloin in a spicy hosin-sesame-ginger sauce, and grilled corn on the cobb with coconut scallion gravy. Pair these with some refreshing cocktails from their recently updated summer cocktail menu, such as a pear martini with Grey Goose Poire, St. Germain liqueur, and a splash of fresh lemon juice, or a ginger-lemon martini with citrus vodka, Canton Ginger liqueur and lemon juice. Tico Hosts “Keep Calm and Summer On” Patio Party on Monday, August 8
Tico chef/owner Michael Schlow celebrates summer on the patio with a “keep calm and summer on” party, featuring a build-your-own boozy sundae bar, free chips and guac, and beats by DJ Dolo. The party starts at 5 p.m., with ice cream infused with  vanilla bean-infused Ketel One vodka and a variety of unlimited toppings for $15. Tico, 222 Berkeley St., Boston, MA 02116, 617-351-0400.
 
Ma Maison Celebrates Anniversary
In summer 2016, Ma Maison co-owners Jacky Robert and Sam Sosnitsky are celebrating one year on Beacon Hill with a lavish three-course nightly dinner for a petit $45. On the joyeux anniversaire menu are fried clams with mustard crème brûlée, Maine lobster smoked using French-imported chips and served on a crispy sushi roll with mango salsa, and peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Pauli's Lobsterizes North End Menu
Pauli’s, the neighborhood sandwich shop in the North End, launches Lobsterize, which lets customers add fresh lobster meat to anything on the menu: lobster pancakes, surf and turf steak bomb, breakfast, lunch and dinner, all summer long. Pauli’s is also known for its U.S.S. Lobstitution, a lobster roll boasting 1½ pounds of fresh knuckle and claw meat. Pauli's, 65 Salem St., Boston, MA 02113, 857-284-7064.
 
Bondir Concord Summer Bistro Menu
Bondir Concord is introducing seasonal, farm-to-table menus. Chef-owner Jason Bond offers shareable dishes that include bass ceviche with shishito harissa, charred eggplant and pita, and crisp duck confit with lentils, farm fresh greens and red wine vinaigrette. Entrées include escarole ravioli with roasted vegetable broth and Parmigiana, bavette steak frites, and the Bondir burger topped with cheese, caramelized onions and bacon. Aquitaine has re-opened with a fresh look Aquitaine Re-Opens with a Fresh Look
To celebrate the restaurant's 19th year in business, Aquitaine underwent a massive revitalization project. It has re-opened with a new look, revamped interior and some menu additions. Aquitaine, 569 Tremont St., Boston, MA 02118, 617-424-8577.
