Openings
For years, the restaurant La Galerie in the Four Seasons Hôtel George V Paris proposed snack food to its guests. According to the will of Christian Le Squer, executive chef of the hotel, it now lives up to the expectations of refined foodies, thanks to the subtle preparations of chef David Bizet. A menu at €95 is offered for lunch and dinner. Moreover, a third restaurant, called Le George and dedicated to Mediterranean fare, will open its doors at the property. Tuscany-native Marco Garfagnini, former chef of Il Lago in the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva, will helm its stoves. La Galerie, Four Seasons Hôtel George V Paris 31, av. Chef Adeline Grattard has moved yam’Tcha to a new location near the Louvre Museum. The place recently opened its doors and seats 25 guests. Lunch menu at €60 and dinner menu at €120. yam’Tcha, 121, rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, 01 40 26 08 07.

Chef Antonin Bonnet has left Le Sergent Recruteur. Noam Gedalof, his former stalwart, is now in charge of the stoves of this gastronomic restaurant. At the beginning of June, chef Jean-François Piège quit Thoumieux and thus put his association with Thierry Costes to an end. Piège plans to open his own establishment, Le Grand Restaurant, next September in the 8th arrondissement. Sylvestre Wahid, formerly at L’Oustau de Baumanière in Les Baux-de-Provence in the south of France, has taken over the stoves of the hotel.
