The Line Los Angeles hotel in Koreatown has collaborated with chef Josiah Citrin (Mélisse) on Openaire. Located in the former COMMISSARY space on the second floor, the poolside restaurant presents seasonal, shareable plates. Chef Daniel Patterson's Alta Group has opened Alta Adams and Adams Coffee Shop, two neighboring eateries in West Adams. At the former, chef Keith Corbin riffs on soul food with dishes such as black eye pea fritters, shrimp and grits, and grilled pork collar with chow chow. Wally’s wine-focused marketplace and restaurant expands to Santa Monica Wally's Santa Monica opened its doors on October 6, 2018. Like its sister restaurant, Wally's Beverly Hills, this is a wine-focused marketplace and restaurant offering California-French bistro fare. Modern American supper club Ocean Prime in Beverly Hills now offers Sunday brunch with a DJ on the terrace and in the patio lounge from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Indulge in Crab & Eggs with poached eggs, hollandaise, fresh fruit and balsamic vinaigrette; butter-poached lobster and sweet pea avocado toast with preserved lemon and arugula salad; and braised short rib surf & turf with crispy gouda potato cake, lobster claw and poached egg.
