Daniel Boulud's namesake restaurant remains one of New York's most luminous fine dining destinations, and the jewel in the crown of his global culinary outposts. Contemporary seasonal French cuisine entrances diners at this elegant Upper East Side flagship, as well as at Boulud's chic luxe bistro in Singapore --- to mention only a couple of his restaurants. More casual, but no less exacting are the haute lobster sandwiches and house-made charcuterie that the Lyon-born chef offers New York gourmands at his Épicerie Boulud market café, or exquisite handmade cocktails at Bar Pleiades.
