Craft Beer Giant Has Major Expansion Plans
The Stone Brewing Company has big plans in the future both domestically and abroad. The local favorite has committed to a space at Liberty Station so locals can gather to drink their famed craft beer in town. The new outpost will boast a large restaurant and bar, brewery and an outdoor theater. In their own backyard, the brewery is also expanding its size, and the company has it sights on building a boutique hotel across the street so revelers will have a place to spend the night. In Europe, they have narrowed the location for their flagship brewery abroad to two cities, either in Berlin, Germany, or Brugge, Belgium. Stone Brewing Company, 1999 Citracado Parkway, Escondido, CA 92029, 760-471-4999.
