Chef Koji, the former owner of downtown sushi restaurant Piranha, has opened Sushi 7 in Montecito. Like Piranha, the new restaurant leans toward modern fusion rather than traditional Japanese fare, although many standards are available on the menu. Dinner Tue.-Sun. Grapevine Fine Food Market Opens
Claudette Pentz and chef Victor Kerschbaumer have opened Grapevine, a fine food market at 126 E. Canon Perdido Street, formerly home to the celebrated Jimmy's Oriental Gardens.
