Los Arroyos Mexican Restaurant, a Santa Barbara favorite, has expanded to Camarillo. The new location is in The Promenade at the Premium Outlets, 630 Ventura Blvd. This marks its third location, and the first outside the Santa Barbara city limits. "Chic tavern" rings oxymoronic, but that's the goal at Hob Nob, a new establishment that's replaced Epiphany at 21 W. Victoria. Run by the same owners, Alberto and Michelle Mastrangelo, Hob Nob offers creative cocktails, a small selection of full meals and eclectic appetizers ranging Italian-style flatbreads to ahi nachos, oyster shooters and truffled mac 'n cheese. Tierra Sur Introduces Chef's Choice Menu
Tierra Sur Restaurant has introduced a special Chef's Choice Lunch Menu, to be served every Friday. Chef Todd Aarons' selection of seasonal dishes may include orecchiette pasta with housemade chorizo and peppernata, or hamburger sliders with pickled zucchini, tomato, yellow ketchup and fries. (This isn't your typical kosher restaurant.) All entrees include a bowl of soup du jour or house salad. Menus change weekly. April in Paris at Sly's
With a nod to the '40s-era classic April in Paris, Sly's restaurant is offering a different prix-fixe menu of French food every week throughout the month. After 20 years as one of Santa Barbara's most popular special-occasion restaurants, Chef Karim's Moroccan Restaurant has closed. Known for its festive atmosphere, belly dancers and seven-course feasts (eaten with the hands), the Moroccan eatery of Marrakesh-born chef Karim Chhibbane was a locals' favorite that provided a unique dining experience.
