Master Chefs Gala Series Room Package at Halekulani
To coincide with the 2nd Annual Hawaii Food & Wine Festival on September 6-9, 2012, the Halekulani is offering a Master Chefs Gala Series room package, available September 5-10. Halekulani guests will have exclusive access to partake of a three-day epicurean experience featuring master chefs, wine and spirit producers and culinary personalities. Co-chaired by chefs Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong, the event will highlight dishes prepared with Hawaii's bounty of local produce, meat and seafood. Package rates start at $2,400 and include a four-night stay featuring access to the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival and Halekulani's "For You Everything" program, including complimentary admission to Iolani Palace, Bishop Museum and Honolulu Museum of Arts. The packages also include a welcome amenity, daily breakfast, twice-daily turndown service, courtesy daily newspaper, local telephone calls and internet. Wolfgang Puck Launches iPhone App
Chef Wolfgang Puck (Spago) has launched an app for iPhone and iPod touch that's available for free from the App Store. The Wolfgang Puck - Live Love Eat! app features new recipes, cooking and technique video demonstrations, one-touch calling for restaurant reservations and more.
