The menu showcases dishes using imported Italian ingredients as well as fresh local products. For more information and reservations, visit www.arancino.com. Lunch & Dinner daily. Arancino, The Kahala Hotel & Resort, 5000 Kahala Ave., Honolulu, HI 96816, 808-739-8888.

PACREP, LLC, announced that it will partner with ESquared Hospitality to launch Hawaii's second BLT restaurant: BLT Market. The "farm to table" restaurant will be located at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach, on Oahu, and is set to open in late 2015 or early 2016. BLT Market's menu will feature an array of organic and sustainable grains, herbs, vegetables, fish and free-range animals. It will be driven by the seasonal availability of ingredients sourced from local and regional areas that supply the city's farmers markets. Edo-style sushi bar Sushi Sho, based in Japan, has announced it will open its first overseas restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach, a new luxury condominium scheduled to debut in 2016. Sushi Sho's main restaurant is located in Yotsuya and has 15 branches throughout Japan. Owner Keiji Nakazawa is well known for the techniques and skills he uses to age the fish used in his sushi, enhancing flavors with salt, vinegar, and other special ingredients. He works with 40 different kinds of fish with each one having its own unique preparation method. He also puts an emphasis on finding balance between the rice and fish, choosing various types of rice that each hold different temperatures. Leroy Guo, who was best known for his tiny T.A.S.T.E. taco stand in Honolulu a few years ago, has teamed up with Sam Hwang --- formerly of Ka and Umeke Market --- to create a lunch spot in Chinatown next door to NextDoor, a well-known nightclub. Kitchen @ NextDoor is only open for weekday lunch to cater to downtown workers, but may open for special events and block parties. The place is popular due to its generous portions and reasonable prices on items like $3 fusion tacos filled with marinated barbecue beef brisket, carnitas and cilantro chicken. The same meats are used on quesadillas and taco salads. For more information, call 808-227-4022. Lunch Mon.-Fri. Kitchen @ NextDoor, 43 N. Hotel St., Honolulu, HI 96813, 808-227-4022.
