Palate is now open in the Colorado building at in the heart of the Downtown Arts District. The décor features vibrant colors with purple chairs, bright orange bar seats and plush vivid red booths; original artwork by local artists (all of which is for sale); and crystal chandeliers.
Executive chef Sterling Buckley, who previously helmed kitchens at La Cave, Honey Salt and Gordon Ramsay Steak, has created a menu with diverse cultural influences. Described as Modern Americana, examples of the diverse fusion of soul food include scallops “tiger style” with coconut leche de tigre, smoked trout roe, kumquats and cucumber; lady in green salad with Pink Lady apples, house ricotta, cornbread croutons and shishito vinaigrette; shrimp gnocchi with lobster truffle, mushrooms, shaved fennel and chili cream; and painter’s beef tartare mixed tableside on an artist palette with pickled red onions, furikake and XO-frito served with foie cornbread.

Ortikia Mediterranean Grill recently debuted at Green Valley Ranch and is presenting authentic Greek dishes, all prepared on a traditional wood-fire grill. The restaurant has launched its all-new Arazo Hour—a Greek-inspired reverse happy hour available Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:30 to 11 p.m.
Offered in the bar and lounge, specialty pricing includes small bites such as mini Greek salad for $12; lamb souvla for $15; olives, almond and cheese for $12; shrimp escabesche for $12; and Greek wines $6-$9. A live DJ performs on the weekends.

Harlø Steakhouse & Bar in Downtown Summerlin is presenting its latest tasting menu, showcasing executive chef partner Gina Marinelli’s take on authentic French cuisine.
Available through the end of August and priced at $95 per person, the four-course tasting includes choice of ratatouille and poached egg with summer zucchini and tomato vinaigrette or brie en croute with tart cherry jam and fine herbs; escargot spaghetti made with parsley butter and garlic breadcrumbs; moules frittes with PEI mussels and shallot broth or steak Diane with bavette and raclette whipped potatoes; and souffle made with Grand Marnier, vanilla gelato and orange.
Additionally, featured wines include Grenache Blanc, Delas, Côtes du Rhône, Rhône Valley 2021 ($45); Chardonnay, La Chablisienne, Le Finage, Chablis, Burgundy 2020 ($80); Cabernet Franc, Château Yvonne, La Folie, Saumur-Champigny 2022 ($90); and Merlot Blend, Elian da Ros, Chante Coucou, Côtes du Marmandais 2020 ($65).

Mott 32 at The Palazzo has launched its “Brunch 32” dim sum brunch offered Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Highlights include 42-day applewood roasted Peking duck, Szechuan style dumplings with minced pork and chili oil, crabmeat & corn soup, stir-fried lo mein noodles, hot & sour seafood soup dumplings, scallop seafood dumpling topped with caviar and BBQ pork cheung fun.
Several unique cocktails have also been created to complement the brunch items, such as Kowloon Coffee made with vodka, single cup extraction coffee, cream and soy sauce; Tang-Tang, a margarita variant with tequila, mandarin, condensed milk, lime agave and house-made Szechuan coconut crunch; and Treasure Cloud, served tableside in a dim sum basket with champagne and exotic fruits like lychee, passionfruit, dragon fruit and mandarins.
The brunch also features weekly DJs and live entertainment.

RPM Italian at the Forum Shops at Caesars has launched a new lunch prix fixe menu, available Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Priced at $35 per person (plus tax and tip), the menu allows guests to choose an antipasti, pasta and dessert. Included are choice of Prime beef meatballs with roasted garlic and Parmesan, Giuliana’s Italian salad with salumi and pepperoncini or truffled garlic bread; rigatoni alla vodka with imported burrata or carbonara spaghetti with black pepper pancetta; and tiramisu, dark chocolate gelato or caramel gelato. Scotch 80 Prime at the Palms Casino Resort has launched its Social Hour menu offering 50% off more than a dozen menu items and discounted prices on several drinks Monday through Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and from 8:30 to 10:00 p.m. all summer long. Discounted food menu items include dishes such as steak tartare with crispy rice and radish ponzu for $13, shrimp toast with Hokkaido milk bread and chili jam aioli for $13, 8 oz filet mignon for $32.50, 8 oz ribeye cap for $31, miso-glazed Chilean sea bass with shiitake mushroom and truffle dashi for $27, New Zealand Big Glory Bay king salmon with caviar beurre blanc for $26, and broiled lobster tail for $25.
Beverage specials include six original cocktails priced at $8 each, beers for $4-$4.50, half-off select bottles of wine and glasses of Austin Hope Cabernet or Harvey & Harriet White Blend for $12.
